Dragonfly Waterworks LLC is a small breeding operation specializing in rainbowfish and select varieties of corydoras, plecos, and gouramis. We sell wholesale to local fish stores in the SE Wisconsin area, and retail to individual customers via local swap meets.

If a fish is for sale here, it was born in my fish room.

Our 75g Flooded Forest aquascape. Fish include clown loaches, a rainbow cichlid, chocolate cichlid, a severum (heros liberifer), apistogramma, Irian Red Rainbowfish, Madagascar Rainbowfish, Turquoise Rainbowfish, a Rainbow shark.

Update: 7/29/24

Cories: I am working on peppered cories, adolfo cories, and black venezuelans. At this point, I’d pay the aeneus cories to stop breeding-letting most of those eggs get eaten in tank these days since I have more than enough stock.

Rainbows: My baby boesemani rainbows are already coloring up. It’s hard to see exactly how many I have, but I’ve got around ten at a sellable size. The Parkinsoni and Turquoise have both done well. I have some Parva/Sunset Dwarf rainbows about ready to go (they’ll be on the website soon!). I’m working on breeding a group of Alleni, and I’m still working on a couple kinds of pseudomugil. I’ve got a batch of Irian Red rainbows hatched and growing, about 0.5″ right now.

Tetras/Rasboras: I’m finally getting some action from my Amazon breeding setup with neon tetras, CPDs, Embers, and luminatus. Fry spotted in the hatching tank this week!
